A different kind of sunrise A different kind of sunriseA different kind of sunrise by *RawPoetry
soon shall shatter our horizon,
and I shall sweep my hands
across the sky
until the air paints words
upon my arms.
The dustiest corners of my mind will
soon forget suppression,
and all shall see
the acrylics in my eyes
and the stillframes in my fingers;
and I'll be followed by
those wishing to seek out
their own symphony
from between the seven layers of sunlight
in their skin.
A different kind of sunrise
soon shall ignite the
dew-drenched earth,
and from my battered rooftop I shall
watch it come.
